lyrics
At 2:06 a.m., M. dreams of B., who has the same time at home, dreams of M..
They will never know.
At midnight 02, because they say that you must not go to bed after midnight, on pain of falling over completely, and the night would flow into the day, A. goes to bed feverishly. She has to get up early tomorrow but, precisely because of this alarm clock which terrifies her, which reminds her of this new day of a job she hates, she can no longer sleep. She no longer knows how to stop being afraid... So she struggles in her bed, all lit up, all electric.
At 3:07 a.m., V. opens his eyes. She stares at the large sleeping body next to her, like an unexpected treasure. She doesn't dare move for fear of waking up E., who has fallen asleep with his arm around her waist. Yet inside she exults. And she's terrified too. Their first night was too good. One would have to die altogether after this little death. How can we survive this? How will they ever be able to maintain that degree of intensity? Under his veins flow rivers of gold, and filaments of light pass ceaselessly under his tired eyelids. She hasn't slept, and she won't sleep all night, yet she's never felt so alive. Tomorrow is but a great promise, a perpetual dawn.
At 7:20 p.m., C. uncaps his first beer. D. talked to him today. The evening air brings warm exhalations of dead leaves. She feels good. She won't drink anymore tonight.
A car passes. The air is charged with gasoline. The neighbors turn on the radio, too loud. She meets her face in the bathroom mirror as she leaves to empty her bladder.
You've aged, she thought. She will never dare to ask D. out one evening.
Suddenly she feels alone. His body tenses, his jaw tenses. You are crazy, my poor girl, she thought. You're crazy.
She opens the fridge, grabs a second beer. We will see tomorrow.
5 At 05:06, Z. looks through the station's porthole at yet another sunset. For him the night is everywhere, all around. Only the cosmic clock and the neon lights of its capsule recreate an illusion of day. But this extra-night, this total night that he has been going through for several months is the most beautiful of his life. And too bad for his bone mass. There is no more dawn than internal. This total night... this night is the most beautiful... this night...
At 7:20 p.m.... at 3:07 a.m.... at midnight 02...at 2:06 a.m....
This night... this extra night... is the most beautiful.

Medicine is one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever had to privilege to hear. It helped me get more in touch with my own self, spirituality and nature. It certainly lives up to its name. The flutes, drumming and percussion are just wonderful. This is a great album to let play all the way through. pimblycharles
